Indie's happy dad's home...
Indie made sure she has put her mark on the house... Footprints in the concrete slab... :0)
Paul and Kelsey standing in the Garage...So Paul has arrived safely... Came walking through the airport looking very executive like...had to get outside ASAP to have a cigarette... I have to say flying business class makes a person look less haggard!!!
Kelsey was so surprise when he opened the car yesterday and there was his dad... He couldn't believe that he was actually here... :-D
I couldn't wait to get home to open the suitcase... Now I have plenty to read, books I ordered plus all the new catalogues, I've got new Cricut Cartridges to play with, I'd ordered them of 'tinternet' to be delivered to our UK address... mind you there were a few 'things' I wasn't allowed to see 'yet' wonder what they can be... wonder why I can't see them yet???? *:-) (just like a spoilt brat!)
Kelsey said thanks Mrs McD for the pizza box... I have put his sweets away for him for Easter and Irana (on Adele's recommendations) I've put the Toffee Crisp Crunches away till Easter too 'cos I'm still not eating chocolates yet... Will have a feast on Easter Sunday though...!
June and Irena also got their top ups of Pork Crackling... They were introduced to it when they visited a couple of years ago and since then that is always on their shopping list from the UK. (plus June's passion for Dominoes Pizza Sauce) Oops don't think we're supposed to carry those sort of things across borders, don't go telling anyone !!!! I forgot to ask Paul to bring mum revels' so now I'm in the dog box... (mudpie guess what's on your list!)
So now we can play Happy Families for the next 2 weeks...
This morning Paul got a taste of my routine, up at 5.30am to get ready to take his son to school... Paul had to go into Kelsey's class to meet all his friends and the teacher... said he felt a bit like a 'show horse'. We then had to endure the end of term assembly... (yawn) but Kelsey's name was drawn out of one of the end of term prize draws so he got another bag full of sweets...
We also got his Term 1 school report and we are soooo very happy with his results... he has done so well in all his subjects even Afrikaans and Zulu (neither of which he'd done before) so overall he's doing great... All the hard work and patience has paid off... Just gotta keep it up now... Although according to him he didn't get any help from me (cut to the quick!)
Kids....
