Hillcrest Snr. Primary vs Westville Snr. Primary

What a way to spend a warm sunny afternoon watching your son getting 'scrunched' and 'scuffed' in a rugby match...

Hillcrest Senior Primary played against Westville Senior Primary, all the teams played U10A & B, and the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Teams, during the course of the afternoon. Kelsey plays for the 3rd Team and he was pleased cos' he'd been told yesterday that he was on the bench as reserve, but one of the boys did'nt turn up so he got a full game in... ;-).

Unfortunately the 3rd team lost BUT they all had fun doing it!!! Sorry can't tell you about the scores for other teams - was'nt paying too much attention... lol!! Too busy gossiping with one of the other mums!!! ooops bad sports reporter eh?

The weather was gorgeous although the boys wished it was a bit cooler as their rugby shirts are all long sleeved and quite thick .... and all that running about too... the smell of 'masculine worked out bodies' was quite strong in the car afterwards !!!! lmao!!! :->

We only got home after 6pm last night... what a day!!!!

If you want to see any more photos check them out in Facebook... Under my name of course... or copy and paste this link into your toolbar :

Mid week already...

Boy that saying time flies when you're having fun is so very apt...

Seems like Tuesday is the main day for business! Yesterday it was bank, accounts paying, shopping, infomation gathering...

Here's a typical O.i.A story for you all... maybe after you've heard this one you'll kinda understand the frustrations...

Been investigating getting Kelsey's SA passport renewed... you know how kids passports only last 5 years... well his expired before we came here and we were advised it was easier to get a renewal here rather than in UK (especially for an SA one). So I go into the passport office, stand in a que for 45mins to be told I can't get the forms to take away and fill in and his dad needs to be here to sign the papers !!!!!!!!!!! ( I say:"so you mean he can't go and visit his dad in the UK who is working there, till his dad comes over here from the UK to sign the papers, so he can get a passport to visit his dad in the UK" - they said YES that's it!!!!!)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH !!!!!!!!!!

We always seem to do all our food shopping on a Tuesday too... Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's pensioner day and that's when mum wants to do her shopping... creature of habit I guess... lotis

How sad am I? I went and bought more wool!!! Different colours though... gonna do some more knitting of scarves.... and had to buy another pair of needles, Kelsey has nicked mine!!! (On Monday night he wanted to come with me to line dancing... "just to watch mum, I'll sit quietly with my knitting") He is so going to regret those kinda comments when he's 21 and I'm telling all his mates!!!! lmao lots...

And now today we're off to play rugby again !!!!!!! I'm so proud of my son who is not afraid to show everyone his inner soft self!!!!! (MUM give it a rest!! ;-})

3 days of nothingness....

What a rather boring and uneventful weekend - long weekend!!!!

We have another public holiday today Freedom Day - boring... :-)

I have finished my scarf I started knitting last week, only used 1 ball to make a really neat little number! (might just knit a few others for some friends as gifts... gives me something to do !!! eh what??? find me some other colours to make it a bit more interesting !!!)

I've read 1 book and half way thru another... T.G I love reading .... :->

Wish I was crafting but I get so frustrated as I don't have all my supplies and no inspiration.. ;-(
I show these lot here and all I get is oh that's nice - what is it!!!!!

Missing my stamps a lot I could be making me some demo pages with them eh? but I also haven't found my chalks yet either... but then again I'm not really in the mood for looking for them either... (OOhh wo is me - think I'm on a bit of a low at the mo... Paul's gone back, winter's coming and I'm still not used to this sloooow pace of life)

Our weather here has been really weird, talk about extremes... on Saturday it was 29c, damned hot, especially after it has been so much cooler all week,(hence the scarf) then Saturday afternoon hardly any clouds in the sky and we suddenly hear the loudest clap of thunder .... we did'nt know where the hell it had come from .... (mind you the horses up at the farm had been acting a bit weird while we were there - running about all over the place - guess they knew some odd weather was on it's way eh?) Poor Indi she hates the thunder so she was hiding under the bed... we had about 4 drops of rain and then the sun was back out again!!!!

Same happened yesterday, we woke up to sunshine, not too hot tho...(went to visit Lawrence & Penny) and then we had thunder ( I have to tell you about my brothers dog Jack he barks back at the thunder, it is the funniest thing you've ever seen!!! oh he's a Jack Russell so that makes it look even funnier as there's this little thing jumping around barking and growling at the sky and Indi's shaking and hiding under the bed !!! ) Then the sun came out and we had 2 of the most beautiful rainbows touching the Indian Ocean (no I did'nt have my damned camera with me !!!) But it was Beautiful... Hopefully Penny caught it on her cellphone camera, she's gonna put it on her blog if it comes out (for details of her blog check my blog list - fairiesonline.blogspot).

Last night we had double duvets and thick winter jammies !!!! Wacky Weather Eh?

So British eh! can make a full blog post just talking about the weather!!!!! LMAO!!!!

T.G.I.F !!! Again

Hey guess what - it's Friday and yet again we had no power this morning... Surprise! surprise!

I don't think we've had a week gone by yet where we've had electricity all week... O.i.A!!! and then when it's not electricity it's water !!! :-0

What an odd week this has been - school for 2 days, off Wednesday for voting, then 2 days back at school and now we have another long weekend... We have a public holiday on Monday - Freedom Day and then we have another public holiday on Friday 1st May - Workers Day!!!!

And they wonder why our kids aren't learning much at school, they're never there and 'I'm sooo confused!!!' I don't know what day of the week it is or even which week I'm in..... and it doesn't help when Kelsey's school works on a 6 day cycle soooo I'm very confused.... ; - ) (hey is'nt there a song about that?)

Spent yesterday at school all day helping the 'Mum's Committee' to sort out tickets etc. for the Family Fun Day coming up on 9th May. Been told we'll be busy with that for the next 2 weeks... Well gives me some'at to do and keep me out of mischief Eh!

So needless to say with all these public holidays not much building work happening either ...(again!) Gotta get used to this... (;-)

Weather been as confusing as the days too, wet and cold Monday & Tuesday and then sun and heat rest of week!!! Why am I making that scarf???

So far nothing exciting happening for the weekend, no surprise rugby matches or stuff, but haven't done school run yet !!! Gotta dash BB4N!!

SA Elections = Public Holiday = Crafting

Yes you got it - today is Election Day here, so it means everyone has a public holiday - that way folks don't have an excuse not to vote...

Kelsey was over the moon cos it meant a day off school... Lazy lie in and watching telly all day...

This is the life...

I decided I would get out the new visual journal that I bought at the weekend, and have a go at colouring some of the pages, make some backgrounds first and then figure out what I'm going to do with them...

Why is it the ideas are all there till you get started??? and they never actually turn out how you want them to... well this was the result of playing about. Disaster struck I've just realised my black ink is nearly dry... Panic! gotta find me a refill or a new one!!!

I've been surfing the net to see what others have used art journals for and there are some really great ideas out there... so much talent ...

I used Memories Soft Rose Dye ink for background colouring, and Ancient Page Black Dye ink for stamping. Stamps used Stampendos SSC087 - borders and scrolls.
Notice how the pink ink has pooled in areas, the paper in my journal is obviously watercolour paper and very absorbent... Gotta watch that for future pages.

This page is coloured with Memories Dye ink - Soft Leaf and stamped in Memories Dye ink - Chestnut. Stamps are Inkadinkadoo also scrolls and flowers.
Ok so suggestions on what to use these backgrounds for???

What is she up to now???

Yesterday looked and felt like it was definitely the start of winter... Rain, fog, dark, damp and very depressing... Strange tho' cos normally the winter here doesn't bring rain... it's usually just cold and miserable...

Well mum and I ended up a bit like onions - lots of layers... but not the vests yet... Temp. not dropped below the teens... Apparently there was snow due on The Berg (that's the Drakensberg, the range of mountains that run the length of SA and split KZN from the other provinces, and they do get snow there from time to time...)

I decided that if it was going to be this cold maybe a scarf was in order :-) I searched every shop I could find and do you think you can get any decent scarves here??? It's Africa you stooopid woman. Doesn't matter that I probably have a hundred or so packed away in boxes...

So if you can't find what you're looking for then make it!!! And what do you think about these gorgeous colours??? All the colours that will go with ALL my winter outfits (Shades of Green & Brown - OK maybe pinks missing but a nice autumnal orange is the next best thing - what!)

I'll post a photo of the finished article when I'm done. Now Kelsey wants his knitting needles out too.. I can't have anyhting that he does'nt want... ;-)

U12 Rugby Tournament

The injury... The Black Eye!!!
Match 1 against Thomas Moore College - unfortunately we lost this one.
3rd Match against Berea West - we won this match...
Absolutely knackered... but still smiling.
Serious scrums and rough stuff - look just how many does it take to stop my boy???
Left prop in the scrum... (I think that's what it's called)

Another early start, up at 6am to school for 7am... Off to another school (Lyndhurst) for the 7-a-side Rugby Tournament.

Well when we got there did I feel like the country bumpkin!!! There they were the other parents rocking up with their portable braais (BBQ's) their packs of bacon and wors (SA sausages that everyone eats) Their camping chairs and even their gazebo's... :-0

Me I had a bag with a couple of ham butties and a packet of crisps... OK! so I did have my flask of hot coffee and a cushion... Didn't have the fancy sun screens etc. though... and boy was it HOT!!! (and it's supposed to be Autumn)

Kelsey had fun as you can see by the photos, and he can't wait to get back in there now. Ended up with a couple of injuries... A black eye courtesy of a team mates knee in the wrong place... a couple of boot prints in the top of the leg... It's seriously rough stuff, no holds barred, full contact rugby....

How it works - the teams are split into age appropriate groups (8 in total) (U12 2nd team for KB) and they play against each other in a 'round robin' type of effect on 2 fields... the winners of field A play the 2nd place of field B and the winners of field B play 2nd place of field A for the semi's and then after that I was lost.... Luckily it was only 7-a-side so they play 10mins each way with 1 minute change over. Very fast, furious and loads of fun... (even I eventually understood what was going on and enjoyed the day)

Unforuntely Kelsey's team did not make it into the semi's they lost 2 games, drew 1 and won 1. But when we left Hillcrest 1st U12 and the U13's were playing in the semi's, we'll probably get the results Monday.

I can see me getting used to this 'Sports Mum' thing!!! But I have gotta get me some of that portable shit, can't be letting the side down now can I??? ...lmao!!! :-} (camp chair/hip flask/ cooler box - maybe I can get them in matching colors!!!)

A new addition... and Blog 101 !!!

Still the Queen of the Castle!!!!
Meet Shadow Lubic Gembicki the new addition to the Twisted Sisters Family...
And what and who are you????
The Handsome young Shadow...

We have a new addition to the family - meet Shadow Lubic Gembicki!!! (Lubic is his Polish name - means lovely/loved/ to love/like !!!)

Aunty June went to SPCA through the week and found this gorgeous little chappy just begging to be adopted...
Question we're all asking: he's a pavement pooch but any ideas on the mix??? (by the way he stands and jumps I reckon definately some Jack Russell??? But he's got a bit of a long body)

You can see by the photos Indi & Shadow have been introduced... Indi's a little unsure as he has a lot of bouncy energy and she kinda gets a bit 'stressed' when he keeps wanting to sniff her you know what!... Good girl! she's a bit fussy about who goes there!!!!! Do you blame her, don't know where the little scruffs been.... lol (but I still think Indi's more better looking!!! keep that to yourself :-D)

So I'm sure there'll be more interesting bits to add as the kids get to know each other and we get settled into a routine...

Can you believe it I'm on blog post 101 already... and there I was worried that I would'nt have enough to say !!!!!!!!! LMAO :->

A note to all the girls on Saturday - enjoy your Crafting Day, Sharon hope your stamps arrive, Jayne hope you got my apology and all of you WISH I WAS THERE!!!! (boo hoo)

An assortment of words to add to your vocab!

etiolate \EE-tee-uh-layt\, transitive verb:
1. (Botany) To bleach and alter the natural development of (a green plant) by excluding sunlight.
2. To make pale or sickly.
3. To make weak by stunting the growth or development of.
4. (Botany) To become bleached or whitened, as when grown without sunlight.
Etiolate comes from French étioler, perhaps for s'éteuler, "to become like straw," from Old French esteule, "stubble or straw," from Latin stipula, "a stalk, straw."

outré \oo-TRAY\, adjective:
Unconventional; eccentric; bizarre. (this is me from now on... I'm not eccentric I'm outre!)
Outré comes from French, from the past participle of outer, "to exaggerate, to go beyond," from Latin ultra, "beyond."

labile \LAY-byl\, adjective:
1. Open to change; apt or likely to change; adaptable. (not)
2. Constantly or readily undergoing chemical, physical, or biological change or breakdown; unstable. (me again???)
Labile derives from Late Latin labilis, from Latin labi, "to slip."

susurrus \su-SUHR-uhs\, noun:
A whispering or rustling sound; a murmur.
Susurrus comes from the Latin susurrus, "a murmuring, a whispering, a humming."

(I wonder who finds all these words!!!- some sad individual who has nothing better to do!!! - ME!) ha ha ha ha

Tired Again

First Thursday back to school which means Mum's Meeting!!! Usual 15 people turned up..(was about 40 at 1st meeting) why is it always the same ones that turn up every meeting and find themselves roped into all the 'volunteering'!!! No matter whether you're in UK or SA it always ends up the same... ;-D

The school has its big fund raising day coming up on 9th May - they call it Family Fun Day here... Can't wait to report back on that to you all... So from now till then it's 'all hands on deck' busy!busy! busy! Collecting things, sorting things, organising things and going out 'requesting' sponsorships... For my insanity I mentioned the Grand Balloon Races we had at St. Joseph's (and they fell for the idea) So bets on who's gotta organise that one... Keep your big mouth shut next time fool!!!LOL...

Luckily I have my 'UK Team' members I can call upon for all the prep... Thanks Elaine!

After the meeting a group of us (we've given ourselves the name 'lonely wives club ' as most of us have absentee hubbies Mon-Fri, mine's away just a little longer) end up at a coffee shop somewhere to have an action replay of the meeting... (never bitchy!!!lmao) But it is nice to have someone to chat to in the same situation...

But today has been busier than normal as The Twisted Sisters are not at work and their niece Nadia is here visiting so all the girls went out today to do a bit of shopping...Of course I was the only one that bought owt!!!

Kelsey's back into the sports etc... He's been picked to play in the U12 team - 7-a-side Rugby tournament on Saturday (oooh the excitement - up early on Saturday, packed lunch, flask coffee, the joys of being a sports mum!!!) AAAW now he needs a Rugby kit too... costing me a small fortune... :-}

A new style thought for today:
ADULT: A person who has stopped growing at both ends
and is now growing in the middle.

I owe someone an apology...

Jayne H so sorry I did not thank you for the lovely stamps and card that you sent me for my birthday but Paul kinda forgot about them and we only found the parcel neatly wrapped shoved down the side of his suitcase as he was packing to leave... MEN!!! That just about says it all...

So Jayne Thank You ... and I just love the African animals too and the little sayings are so cute too...

Well Paul has left and we're all sad - he's back in UK safe and sound... Already sending me messages do this and do that... What does he think I'm doing here NOTHING!!!

Kelsey's back at school today... It was hard getting up at 5.30am again and it was very dark and cold this morning!!! The kids are still in their summer uniforms but change to winter uniforms from 4th May... Long sleeved shirts, ties and shorts !!!! O.i.A

Got back after school drop off and guess what - no electricity AGAIN... O.i.A Couldn't do anything till after 5pm tonight but read a lot... :-)

So I have gotta start doing something crafty now... :-D

Well I'm gonna borrow a bit of an idea from Dyan Reaveley (Art from the Heart),http://dyan-reaveley.blogspot.com/ I've become an avid reader of her blog and although I'm not much of an Altered Artist I love the idea of a 'Visual Journal' (aka Art Journal). As I'm busy unpacking boxes of stock and finding the odd stamp here and there tucked in corners I thought 'I have little space and little supplies' so I'm gonna set myself a challenge and do an art journal with only the bits I've got and the bits I find usable in each box... How does that sound?

Sounds good but now I've gotta get my A into G and get going... Promise I'll show you some of my attempts, I know they won't compare to Dyan's work but you gotta start somewhere. Hey?

So how many chocolates have you all eaten??? Every Easter I give up yummy chocolate for lent then it takes me about a week of eating it after Easter to get the taste back again... The sacrifices one has to make... Can you believe it but it has been 31 weeks since I've had M&M's... Not that I don't have any but I have to ration myself.... I think I'm going to have to open that 1kg bag Sharon sent me...

Now to your thought for the day:

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start,
anyone can start now and make a brand new ending.

Monday, 13 April 2009

Another crazy weekend...

Man has fire - UUUG cook meat !!! (burnt actually)
The quiet start... Slowly does it...
Let the dancing begin - even mum gets a jive or two in !!!
Girls just wanna have fun!!!
Rock Qween !!! Brush guitar and all!!!
Who's ya Daddy???
"The Kids" - Easter Egg Hunting!!!!
The Gang after all the eggs have been found

Yet another excuse to Party - Easter Weekend!!!
Like do we need an excuse really???
What started out as a 'braai'(aka BBQ) with a few friends and family, as the Twisted Sisters had visitors staying for the weekend and of course my family are never too far away when it's a good excuse for a 'social' ...

The day always starts out mild with a couple of main rules :
1. The corks aren't pulled till after 12noon
2. The guys cook the meat (usually after many fights and bags of charcoal later)
3. The music is soft till night fall... Then the animals come out to play...

And this time we had some added 'organic herbal buns' that the Easter Bunny left behind... :-0 Naughty Bunny!!!
But a great night was had by all... and we were all in bed by midnight... :-)

Aunty J's lived here for the last 13 years and probably had about 5 parties in all that time... We've been here 7 months and we've instigated at least 6 since we got here... LOL
Does it sound like she's going to have some noisy neighbours in the future???

Easter Sunday morning saw the 'kids'(and adults) hunting eggs around the garden...
We had to get to them quite early other wise they would have melted...!!!

And after a couple of hours in the sun - it was time to retire for an afternoon snooze!!! (the headache from the sun of course) makes the eyes a little drowsy by 2.30pm...

And now today (Pauls last day boo hoo- he flies out tomorrow) the boys have all gone for a game of golf... Male bonding etc...

We did it - no chocolate for 40 days...

Bunnies are darling, so soft and small,
But I like the Chocolate ones best of all….

Traditions:

Breakfast Today smothered with thick butter... and a bit of a History lesson too...

We often sit around the table here and ask each other ' I wonder where this tradition came from?' there's always a chorused response " lets google it!" :-)

In many historically Christian countries, buns are traditionally eaten on Good Friday, with the cross standing as a symbol of the crucifixion.

They are believed by some to pre-date Christianity, although the first recorded use of the term "hot cross bun" is not until 1733; it is believed that buns marked with a cross were eaten by Saxons in honour of the goddess Eostre (the cross is thought to have symbolised the four quarters of the moon); "Eostre" is probably the origin of the name "Easter". Others claim that the Greeks marked cakes with a cross, much earlier. Cakes were certainly baked in honor of deities since very ancient times, although it is not known if they were marked.

According to cookery writer Elizabeth David, Protestant English monarchs saw the buns as a dangerous hold-over of Catholic belief in England, being baked from the dough used in making the communion wafer. Protestant England attempted to ban the sale of the buns by bakers but they were too popular, and instead Elizabeth I passed a law permitting bakeries to sell them, but only at Easter and Christmas.

English folklore includes many superstitions surrounding hot cross buns. One of them says that buns baked and served on Good Friday will not spoil or become mouldy during the subsequent year. Another encourages keeping such a bun for medicinal purposes. A piece of it given to someone who is ill is said to help them recover.

Sharing a hot cross bun with another is supposed to ensure friendship throughout the coming year, particularly if "Half for you and half for me, Between us two shall goodwill be" is said at the time. Because of the cross on the buns, some say they should be kissed before being eaten. If taken on a sea voyage, hot cross buns are said to protect against shipwreck. If hung in the kitchen, they are said to protect against fires and insure that all breads turn out perfectly. The hanging bun is replaced each year.

Happy Easter

Wishing you all a Chocolate Filled,
Fun & Peaceful Easter...

Disaster.... ;-o

We've just realised the biggest disaster that can ever happen at Easter.... No CADBURY CREME EGGS....!!!!!

How could I have forgotten them on the shopping list? Why can we not get them here? What is this world coming too???

How can we possibly have an Easter Egg Hunt without them??? And do you want to hear the saddest part??? The Twisted Sisters and their family have never tasted them... (;-o)!!!

Well Ann you have a mission should you choose to accept it!!! Buy at least half a dozen Creme Eggs, refrigerate them and pack them in your suitcase to come over... We don't mind having to wait another month ... We'll have an egg hunt when you get here!!!... :-)

Got some time...

You know how I have all these men building my house??? And even Paul adding his bit now that he's here!!!! LOL!
How come none of them noticed that the plumber was digging the drains in the wrong place...
Under where the swimming pool is supposed to be...? Who is it that actually wants a swimming pool??? ( DUH not me)

OOPs! read the plans a bit wrong... so now we have another set of trenches being dug... (any of you read that book/or seen the movie HOLES, it's based on the story of my land!!!:-] )

The building of this house should have been on one of those TV programmes (you know the sort) ' Horror Build from Hell' I'm sure I could have made a fortune with it... we could have got at least 4 mini series out of this by now and they still haven't laid a brick yet...

You know I said I thought I'd be in my own house for Christmas, did I actually say which year???

Something for the more intelligent; some more interesting words for you to add to your sentences:
nescience \NESH-uhn(t)s; NESH-ee-uhn(t)s\, noun:
Lack of knowledge or awareness; ignorance. (can this be said about anything/one you know?)
Nescience is from Latin nescire, "not to know," from ne-, "not" + scire, "to know." It is related to science. Nescient is the adjective form.

aegis \EE-jis\, noun:
1. Protection; support.
2. Sponsorship; patronage.
3. Guidance, direction, or control.
4. A shield or protective armor -- applied in mythology to the shield of Zeus.
Aegis derives from the Greek aigis, the shield of Zeus, from aix, aig-, "a goat," many primitive shields being goatskin-covered

My latest favourite saying that I just love (found in a craft mag I'll have you know) :
Excercise is a 'dirty' word...
Everytime I hear it I wash my mouth out with CHOCOLATE!!! (yes please! Only 4 more days without it!!!)

Sunday, 5 April 2009

Saturday 5th April ... A special day for someone...!!!

All the lovely pressies I got today, perfume, body lotion and nougat from Lawrence & Penny, Triskellion 2 from Ann, the new Julie Hickey Craft Book from Sharon, a beautiful beaded spiders web from Irana, and a gorgeous fairy on a globe from June & Irena.
Just a couple of gorgeous Pandora Charms for my bracelet... (from Paul & Kelsey) and the latest style of lariat from Pandora too...
Some of the stunning cards I received from my good friends and family... Can you spot yours?
Check out the temperature today and the humidity!!! I think today has been the hottest day we've had since we got here!!! It has been absolutely fabulous and we're all suffering a little with tingly sunburn tonight.
A special way to cool off... For those who don't fancy a swim, a hose pipe will do...:-)
There's a new Coffee Cake Queen in town!!! BNM1 we reckon you need to get over here for a 'cook off'
June couldn't make it to horse riding yesterday cos she was too busy baking my surprise Birthday 'Handmade Coffee Cake'. She's such a special friend...and the results were great considering the last time she baked a cake was when she was at school...:-)
Needless to say I've had a really fantastic birthday today...

I have to say a special Thank You to all the ladies who sent cards and or gifts via Paul or Post for today:

Ann however did you know I wanted Triskellion2 (I nearly ordered it via Amazon!!!) and a bookmark card to go with it - thank you... Gotta get rid of Paul now to get started.
Sharon strange thing I'd just spotted in one of the latest mags (that you'd sent) that the new Julie Hickey book was out... and ta-da now I have it... Thank you and the card was lovely too...
Irana - spiders well I never !!! You'd think we both liked them or something, thank you the present and card is lovely...

Glenis 'line dancing' now fancy that... BNM1 my own craft room (ha!ha!) on my card well at least now I have a craft room...

Paul brought me a couple of 'beads/charms' for my Pandora (he'd brought me a new bracelet for Christmas and as I didn't have any charms to put on it I've never even had it out of the box) Today I get it out to put my new charms on and guess what - it doesn't fit!!! So he'll be taking it back with him to exchange (just another little something for Ann to slip in her case) ;-)

Then June spoilt me even more by being the Chef for the day and she cooked us a stunning Sunday Pork Roast ... and mum did all the dishes, so I have been extremely lazy and enjoyed myself the whole day ...

Time for bed now... long lie in tomorrow (no school hurray!!!) Hopefully the weather will continue to be good for us so we can get down to the beach and enjoy our holidays...

Once again a huge thank you to all of you who sent me their special wishes...

Good night and God bless you all...

Saturday with Dad

Paul on Don
Kelsey on Cheyenne

Paul & Kelsey on Saturday - it was decided that dad should go horse riding with Kelsey as Aunty J was still sporting a sore thigh from last weeks fall, and I didn't want Kelsey to have another excuse not to get back on a horse...

Paul did well considering he hasn't been on a horse in almost 20 years !!!!

It was fun watching them... : 0)
