My oh My what a crazy hectically busy week I've had ... even been way too busy to blog ???
Ok, so here's the run down ...
Monday: Paul & Kelsey decided to take the day off work and off we went to Alton Towers ... weather was great ... lurverly & warm ... hay fever played havoc but hey! we were in the country side !!! To be honest there was no real point of going for the 'big thrill rides' Kelsey became a 'chicken' and Paul wasn't going on if he's not going on !!! So we managed the run-a-way train and the couple of water rides ... the fun there was making sure I got wet of course !!! We ate tons of junk food (now there's a surprise) but it was just sooo nice to have a family day either way ... By the time I got home my eyes and nose were so sore and red I crashed into bed and slept like the dead !!!
On Tuesday the day actually started out with some bad news ... Nicki (Nan & Ben's 4 year old had fallen off their stoop (veranda) on Saturday and she has broken her jaw !!! ... poor little mite) and Nan told me she has to go into hospital to have a plate put in her jaw ... all our prayers and thoughts go out to them all ... a very stressful time for the whole family ... I'll keep you all posted on her progress ...
Ok so back to Tuesday - Jane (the Jane who came to SA for Christmas ... that Jane) had taken the day off work and as both she & I are IKEA fans ... it was breakfast there followed by the rest of the day 'shopping' (Hillcrest Gr 7's - Spring Tea - be afraid ... be very afraid !!!) We got back home in time for a quick S.S.S then we met up with the boys at Dynasty ... one of our favourite Chinese restaurants in Chesterfield = late night to bed for us all !!! ;-)
Wednesday was another day reserved with JANE .. this time it was off to a Phoenix Traders open morning ... where I bought cards ... yes you read it right ... just couldn't resist them !!! sad I know ... ate the most scrummy 'rocky road 1000000 calorie piece of cake' !!! (still trying to get over it)... then a quick visit to Downtown ... lunch with Shirley (Jane's sister & just 1 of my personal shoppers here UK side !!! ;-) a dash into a couple of places in Grantham (our lunch/coffee became a marathon meeting LOL) And before you knew it it was 6pm and I was off home ... boys spent the day working ... hard LOL ... when I got home they were off to gym... I had a quick 'pop' into Tesco (ooooh I just looove food shopping !!! How truly sad is that?) then it was food & bed ... good nite ;-)
Yesterday ... up and out for Coffee & Muffins with Glenis ... had a lovely long catch up (a.k.a Gossip) ... put the world to right .. then thanks to Glenis' directions I found PDA ... spent a fortune (she told me that's what friends are for ... NOT) and I thought I'd have a 'quick' (HA! HA! HA! HA!) pop into Trimcraft ... was being chucked out a 5pm ... But oooh more lurverly lurverly stuffs to buy ... (Grade 7's be even more afraid) ... in fact when I reckoned up I think most of that shopping was for Kelsey (Juno wait till you see the stuffs I've got !!! you are so going to 'platts' )
It was home quickly, S.S.S and off out to 'Tea/Dinner/ Supper' with Gussy Tucker and BNM1... gals what a great night out ... we laughed, we chatted, I caused chaos !!! but thankfully we did not cry ... I just love all of you so much ...
BUT my weeks not over yet ... oh forgot to mention the boys abandoned me yesterday to go to London!!! (to visit the Queen ha ha :-) they stayed out overnight too ... I mean really what do they think this is a holiday ???
And now onto today ... haven't hard any news of Nicki but the last message was she was being sent home after her op... so hopefully that is a good sign ... meeting Irana for an early lunch (I hope just read FB and found out her youngest daughter Sophie has broken her leg !!! ) then picking mum up from the railway Station in Chesterfield at 2pm ... hope she's had a good time while she's been away ...
And after that ??? who know how the day will end ...
Boo Hoo ... only 1 more week to go ;-(
