Jacob Marley, Scrooges Partner had dies long ago,
He died all alone in the cold and the snow.
Scrooge alone thought that this was sad,
He'd known Jacob Marley since he was a lad.
Scrooge had an office and made lots of cash,
He treated his staff as if they were trash.
His clerk poor Bob Cratchet worked hard all his life,
To support his family and look after his wife.
