Happy Spring Day to you all...

I know it is hard for some of you to imagine it but today is considered our 'First Day of Spring' and of course the sun is shining beautifully, temp due to be 27c today ... and I have spent all morning arranging flowers ??? ;-D
What I hear you say ? They have a lovely tradition at Hillcrest Primary School, today all the kids bring in fresh flowers and they are allowed to wear 'bright colours', all the flowers are "lovingly" arranged by the mum's and the Grade 7's (that's the big kids!!!) they get to take these hundreds of arrangements to all the local hospitals, hospices etc.... (I've never seen so many fresh flowers in 1 room... definitely needed the antihistamines this morning, and the sun glasses !!!!)
Kelsey at 6am this morning (still half asleep) in the brightest PINK t-shirt he owns (yes! apparently pink is a cool colour for boys at the mo! His camo shorts even have pink 'splashes' in them to smatch!!! = the joys of tweeny year followed by teenage'dom')It's so nice to experience different traditions and at different times of the year !!!
